Position Overview: Legal for Good, a woman-owned law firm founded in 2010 that focuses on advising nonprofit organizations, is seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with knowledge of nonprofit law to join our team.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal support to our new and existing nonprofit clients and will work with a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and assist nonprofit organizations with legal matters from incorporation through dissolution.
• Provide guidance on nonprofit governance and operational issues, tax-exempt status, and other nonprofit-business, employment, and tax related matters, acting as a key resource for nonprofit organizations, their boards of directors, and their key staff.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including simple and complex contracts as well as policies/procedures tailored to the unique needs of each nonprofit organization.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed legal opinions and advice.
