About our client

Our client is a prestigious global investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, with an outstanding track record in private equity transactions globally. This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join their growing and highly successful team. The role will focus on direct private equity investments in Asia, across a wide range of sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A or be an investor at a top tier private equity firm. What the job involves

• Support in the evaluation, execution and monitoring of global private markets investments, including co-investments
• Conduct financial modelling, including LBOs and investment analysis for new opportunities
• Prepare investment memos, presentations and materials for the internal investment committee
• Assist in due diligence across commercial, financial and operational workstreams
• Work closely with senior team members to monitor portfolio performance and provide analytical insights

Who we are looking for

• Experience of working in the M&A team of a top-tier investment bank. Alternatively, experience working in a private equity role with prior investment banking exposure
• Outstanding academics from a top-tier university
• Strong business acumen and high professional integrity
• Native-level or fluent in an Asian language (E.g. Japanese, Korean etc.) in addition to English is highly desirable
