• Key Responsibilities
  
  -Manage all aspects of commercial collections and commercial litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
  -Manage a caseload of commercial claims and litigation files matter.
  -Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses and settlement agreements,
  -Conduct legal research and analysis using tools like Westlaw to support case strategy.
  -Represent clients in court, hearings, mediation, and depositions.
  -Advise clients on legal strategies, risk management, and potential outcomes of collection of commercial litigation actions.
  -Assist in other real estate transactional matters.
  -Assist in drafting of Buy-Sell agreements for the sale of businesses.
  -Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial staff.

Requirements

-Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
-Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
-0 to 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in commercial collections and creditor's rights.
-Courtroom experience (arguing motions, taking depositions) is highly desirable.
-Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
